How does The Insurance Store work?
We're a company with a simple mission: to help you find a great value on your health care coverage. You can shop for plans online, or call one of our specially trained Insurance Store Advisors to sign up over the phone. Once you've found the plan that fits your needs, you can enroll without ever leaving the comfort of your home. We'll send you all your plan information and membership material through the mail.
What types of plans are available through The Insurance Store?
We offer Medicare Advantage plans with a range of generous benefits. We have PPO and PFFS plans that don't limit you to a network of doctors and hospitals and HMO plans with extensive doctor networks. Many of our plans offer low monthly premiums and coverage through the prescription drug gap.
Will it cost me anything extra to use The Insurance Store?
If you choose one of our plans, you'll pay only the cost of the plan itself. There are no additional costs or fees to shop at The Insurance Store.
Will I receive visits from salespeople?
Absolutely not. You can shop for your plan and enroll right over the phone. You don't need to leave your home, and no one will come to you. During the Medicare Advantage enrollment process, the only person you need to speak with on the phone is an Insurance Store Advisor.
Are my prescription drugs covered?
We have a convenient drug search tool that you can use to see if your drugs will be covered under the plan that you're interested in.
Will I be able to keep seeing my doctor?
In many cases, the answer is yes.
The Insurance Store has a range of recommended plans that not only offer you great value, but also give you the comprehensive coverage you need. Our Private-Fee-For-Service (PFFS) Medicare Advantage plans have no networks. That means you're free to visit any doctor or hospital that accepts the plan's terms and conditions. If you choose one of our HMO plans, you must see a doctor that belongs to the plan's provider network.
What is a Medicare Advantage plan?
A privately administered Medicare health plan that offers comprehensive medical benefits plus prescription benefits in one plan. Your Medicare Advantage plan may provide extra benefits beyond Original Medicare, and many people who enroll will pay less for their benefits than they would if they received their benefits through two or more stand-alone plans.
What if I already have a Medicare Advantage plan?

Is The Insurance Store affiliated with Medicare or the government?
No. The Insurance Store is offered by Bloom Insurance Agency LLC, based in Bloomington, Indiana.
Once I'm enrolled, how will I access my health care benefits?
The same way you do with any plan. You'll have a membership card, and you'll communicate directly with the plan that you choose.
